In order to implement the fundamental task of moral cultivation, carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and incorporate aesthetic education into the whole process of college talent training, on the afternoon of March 22, the college carried out the theme practice of "Giving full play to professional characteristics and carrying forward traditional culture" to explore the method of tea ordering and taste tea culture in the form of tea ordering techniques in the Song Dynasty。

Liu Xiaochang, head of the tea art studio, explained the tea culture of the three important historical periods of "Tang Dynasty cooking, Song Dynasty and Ming and Qing Dynasties" to the students, and did on-site teaching。The students actively participated in the exchange and share the feelings of tea recognition, tea tasting, tea brewing, tea ordering, matcha, tea tasting and tea offering. In the study and taste, they experienced the long history of tea culture, cultivated their sentiments with tea art, and felt the unique charm of tea culture。

This activity has set up a cultural exchange platform for the students of Liaoqing University, relying on the professional characteristics of the college and giving play to the function of the community, so that students can get close to, feel and learn cultural heritage, and create a strong campus cultural atmosphere。The College will continue to focus on the inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and continue to carry out a series of themed activities to enhance the majority of young students' sense of identity and pride in the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and gather spiritual strength for carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture。This activity is sponsored by the college league committee and hosted by the traditional tea master Studio of the Aviation Service Department。Xu Chuanyi, deputy secretary of the Youth League Committee of the College, teachers in charge of the league branch of each department, and representatives of young students of the department participated in the activity。

As a traditional Chinese culture, tea art has extensively absorbed and learned from other art forms on its original basis, forming Chinese tea culture with strong national characteristics。On November 29, 2022, "Traditional Chinese tea making techniques and related customs" was included in UNESCO's Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity。
